Dense dashboards, continuous duty and low-gray legibility make signal redundancy, front service and documented recovery central to acceptance.
A pixel pitch or brightness target is meaningful only when tied to viewer distance, ambient light, content, camera interaction, duty cycle and recovery consequence.

Very small pitch does not remove moiré risk; high brightness does not replace ambient-light control; front service does not eliminate the need for safe access; and redundant hardware does not prove recovery until failure switching is exercised. Outdoor suitability also depends on enclosure, drainage, corrosion exposure and the exact IP test configuration.
